The House
Any travel guide in Bangkok will ask you to visit this house when you are in town, and it’s not too much of a hassle for you either, as it is accessible from most popular resorts and hotels, for example, Anantara Sathorn Bangkok Hotel.
Going In
The house still maintains the aura it has when Jim Thompson used to reside in it. His collection of antiques, fine silks, and love for art and anything that is an artsy object are evident when you walk through the halls and visit the many rooms.
Where is he now
Jim Thompson, after doing what he did to bring up the Thai Silk industry, mysteriously disappeared in 1967, and no one has seen him or heard from him ever since.
