The Dune
The Moreeb Dune, being the largest sand hill in the country and one of the largest in the world, is a staggering 5,250 feet long and 984 feet high. The dune has a 50-degree slope and this makes it an ideal spot for dune racing.
The attractions
The steep incline of this majestic dune makes the area perfect for dune races, they occur throughout the year, and there is a massive hill climbing competition every February. There is also a cultural complex situated at the base of the hill that hosts numerous events.
