The main export of Sri Lanka is tea. As such, it is but a little wonder that the people have a strong affinity towards tea. Being offered a cup of tea is customary no matter where you go and what the time is. Remember that Sri Lankan’s express their love and affection through food, and are likely to overload your cup of tea with sugar if they really like you.
