Jaipur has not taken a step into the modern centuries still lingering in a romantic era of kings and queens and regal opulence. You can take a step back in time into the culture and heritage of the centuries past. Here are the reasons why you should be visiting as soon as possible.

The Forts

Jaipur is home to so many forts and fortresses, each more breath-taking than the last. Some of them have been converted into Jaipur heritage hotels. You can go on elephant rides, hot air balloon over the monstrous structures to see their true beauty from the air.

Live Like a Royal

Thanks to some of the fortresses in Jaipur being converted into tourist resorts, you can now live like royalty for a day. There are many luxurious locations like Alila Fort Bishangarh that are perfect to visit as a family too.

The Art

Jaipur is a hub of art, culture and fashion. There are plenty of places to absorb the atmosphere and go on a shopping spree.

Festivals All Year Round

Jaipur is also constantly hosting festivals. No matter when in the year you visit, you can be guaranteed that the city is in a festive mood. And they’ll drag you into it.

Breath-taking Architecture

There’s so much to look at, not just the fortresses. Begin at the Hawa Mahal and finish at the peacock gate of the City Palace. Make sure you add a visit to the Jantar Mantar into your list.
