The Warner Brothers Studio and Harry Potter

Starting with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone all Harry Potter movies have been made here. The Warner Brothers Studio can easily be accessed from London. When visiting London and Leavesden if it is a luxury Mayfair Hotel you need then the conveniently located COMO Metropolitan London would be a good choice of accommodation.

The Studio Tour

The Warner Brothers Studio Tour takes you behind the scenes and plunges you into the magical and mystical world created by J.K. Rowling and brought to life at Warner Brothers Studio.

What you will see and do

The latest feature of the Tour is the Platform 9 ¾ and the Hogwarts Express. Visitors can climb into the carriage of the original Hogwarts Express and pose for a photograph while a trolley disappears into the platform wall. The cobbled Diagon Alley features shop fronts like Ollivanders Wand Shop and Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes as well as the Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Visitors can visit places like the Gryffindor Common Room and Dumbldore’s Office or ride a broomstick and experience Green Screen Technology. Butter Beer, Butter Beer Ice Cream and Harry Potter souvenirs are on sale.

Other movies

Among other movies made at Warner Brothers Studio are The Phantom Menace and the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The latter used some Harry Potter sets.
