Are you looking for the best beach getaways? You are in the right place, or should I say page? Far from the wild nights of Bali is Indonesia’s pristine treasure, Pink Beach in Komodo. This is a must stop beach after trekking in Komodo Island.
Location
Situated in the west of Flores Island in East Nusatenggara, Komodo Island, the Pink Beach is one of the seven pink beaches in the world. If you are looking for private beach getaways or simply planning to visit this part of the country, ensure to gather more information by reading travel guides such as Sandy Beach Trips.
Why is it called the Pink Beach?
This Pink beach gets its name from nanoscopic animals called Foraminifera which produce red or pink light on the reef. When the tiny pieces of red coral blend with white sands, it turns into soft pink colour.
Dive in
Dive in and discover the Pink Beach corals which are still in perfect condition with species of both soft and hard corals. Something you should keep in mind is that if you see animals wandering about, ensure to keep a distance.
Panoramic Views
Take in the magnificent environment; views of blue and pink skies, turquoise seas, green hills and relax amidst this picture perfect scenery.
