Sheikh Saeed’s House

An iconic historical structure in Dubai, Sheikh Saeed’s House was built back in 1896. Having witnessed several watersheds throughout the city’s history, it was an ancestral home for the Al-Maktoum family for a few generations. Located at the Dubai Creek’s Shindagha waterfront area, it has been built in traditional Arabic architecture. Having been converted into a full-fledged museum following the death of Sheikh Saeed, today the house showcases Al-Maktoum family’s photographs and other ancient items such as stamps and coins. Travellers in search of a Dubai hotel, would not have to look beyond the array of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels in Dubai.
