Known for its tourism, European countries usually have about 480 million visitors from countries outside of the continent.
History
Romans believe that their city has been in existence since 753 BC, but archaeologists have reasons to believe it dates further back, until 1000 BC. After the ancient Greece and Roman Empire went down, the Carolingian empire took over and stayed until 911.
About
Europe is made up of 12 regions, namely, Baltic states, Balkans, Britain and Ireland, Central Europe, France and Monaco, Iberia, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, Caucasus, Italy, Nordic countries, Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus.
Cities
Some of the best hotels in Europe can be found in the major tourist cities, like Amsterdam, Athens, Istanbul, London, Prague, Sarajevo, Moscow, and Barcelona. A few resorts also have branches in most of the said cities, like Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, for instance.
Climate
As it is close to the Gulf, the climate in Europe is milder when compared to its neighbours of the same latitude. Summer is the best time to visit the European countries, especially the ones at the south of the continent, as they have the longest sun hours in a day. The northern Europe experiences summer rains and this isn’t a good time for a visit.
