Sri Lanka is an amazing place to make memories and have adventurous experiences and has the best of both in nature; mountains and endless beaches.

The Plains

Also known as World’s End, this place is located inside the Horton Plains National Park and garners the interest of many just for its very descriptive name.

Locality

You can find a number of things to do in Sigiriya, and to stay while you explore, you can look into properties like Water Garden Sigiriya.

How to get there

You can hail a TukTuk from Nuwara Eliya if it’s just 2 or 3 of you, and if the crowd is bigger, hire a van. The usual cost is about Rs.3000 for the Tuks and about Rs.3500 when it is a van. The walk and viewing will not take more than 2 or more hours as it is not very challenging or steep.

Inside the National Park

The view from World’s End will surely be a jaw-dropper, but the walk to the spot is no less interesting or mesmerising. You might spot a few cute deer and get to see a variety of flowers and birds before you reach your destination. From the viewpoint, you will look down at acres of lush green, including the town, tea plantation villages and an infinite view of the southern coast.
