Ikan Bakar

Ikan Bakar is an umbrella term for an assortment of seafood which is barbecued over charcoal. Stingray and squid are the general favourites which are served with a sweet and sour sauce known as sambal kecap. The best place to try these delicious dishes is at the Gerai Ikan Bakar Seri Menanti Jalan Bellamy which is just 14 minutes away from many a hotel in Bukit Bintang including the likes of The Westin Kuala Lumpur.

Nasi Lemak

Considered the national dish of Malaysia by many, nasi lamek puts the spotlight on the richly flavoured rice sweetened with coconut milk. It’s usually served with a selection of curries, meats, fried eggs and fresh vegetables such as green cucumbers for that extra crunch.
