This attraction is at number 9, Binhai Middle Road and is around 8.5 km from the Dalian Railway Station. Those staying at properties such as Citadines Gugeng Dalian can easily plan a visit here; you can take a taxi or consider the Tourist Bus to Laohutan Haiyang Gongyuan (Tiger Beach Ocean Park).
Marine Life & Sculptures
Billed as the country’s biggest maritime amusement park, this site offers much to see for those visiting from hotels or serviced apartments in Dalian. It’s known for its huge Marine Animal Hall, home to marine life from around the world; also notable is the Tigers Sculpture Square with six captivating tiger sculptures.
Other Highlights
Bound to be a hit with the kids is the section featuring polar animals including polar bears, penguins, sea otters and beluga whales. Equally fascinating is the coral section with over 200 varieties of corals on display and another area where one can see about 150 bird species from egrets to peacock and more.
Enjoyable Entertainment
Not to be missed are some of the animal-related shows on offer at the special arena; amongst the stars of such shows are dolphins, sea lions and a whale. There is also a 4D cinema where you can enjoy an immersive underwater experience that you not only see but can feel too!
