Amongst the most popular family attractions in China, Shanghai Disneyland provides plenty of fun for all ages and here are some insights on what to expect.
Getting There
Located in Chuansha New Town, this theme park is at the Disney Resort, within easy reach of properties like Somerset Xuhui Riverside Shanghai. There are several ways to get here including when based at Xuhui District apartments. Apart from a taxi, you can take the metro (Line 11) to the Disneyland Park Station or Pudong Bus Line #50, 51 or 52 which stops near the site.
Tomorrowland & Toy Story Land
A futuristic-themed area, Tomorrowland at Shanghai Disneyland features unforgettable rides like the Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue and Jet Packs that takes you soaring above! At Toy Story Land, you will find experiences based on the popular Toy Story movie franchise including Woody’s Roundup as well as Rex’s Racer for some speedy thrills.
Fantasyland & Adventure Isle
Fantasyland is home to the stunning Enchanted Storybook Castle where you can encounter Disney princesses too! This themed zone is also where you will find the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh amongst other attractions. Those heading to Adventure Isle can enjoy the exhilarating Roaring Rapids and exciting expeditions at Camp Discovery.
Gardens of Imagination & Treasure Cove
The first-ever garden-designed Disney Park, Gardens of Imagination features everything from the fascinating Garden of the Twelve Friends to the Marvel Universe with all your favourite superheroes. For some pirate-themed entertainment, head to the Treasure Cove area where you can join Captain Jack Sparrow on the Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure!
