Towering to a height of 150 metres, the Dubai Frame is a stunning addition to the cityscape and well worth a visit. After all, it’s not every day you can head inside the world’s largest picture frame!
Planning Your Visit
The Dubai Frame can be found at Zabeel Park and is open daily from 09:00am to 09:00pm. Located around a 15 drive from Avani Deira Dubai Hotel, this attraction can be reached via the Al Jafiliya Metro Station as well.
Learning About Old Dubai
Exploring this attraction is one of the best things to do in Deira, Dubai because you can learn a lot too. On entering the Dubai Frame you can enjoy a multimedia exhibition that showcases how the city developed from a fishing village. Utilising 3D projections and other effects, you get a feel of the history and heritage of Old Dubai.
View From the Top
Of course, the main highlight awaits up top where you will be greeted by breathtaking panoramas; the vantage point is such that you can see the older part of the city on one side and the newer part of the metropolis on the other. Interactive displays and even transparent floor panels offer even more fun.
The Dubai of the Future
After you take the elevator down from the top you will reach the mezzanine floor where there’s more to experience; this includes a “swirl tunnel” featuring audio and visual effects that offer a peek into the Dubai of the future!
