The bell shaped stupa has been erected with an octagonal shape upon a base of a mould of flower petals. The relic chamber which is considered to be the oldest building in the premises includes a beautiful moonstone at the base of the entrance, while the interior is intricately beautified with paintings that belong to the Kandyan era. The Bo tree is also of great significance here as it has a history of being revered for over 300 years, by countless devotees.
