Located on the Northwest coast of the second most populated island in Seychelles, Praslin, Anse Lazio is considered a ”must visit ” in the archipelago. This half a kilometer long stretch with calm crystal-clear water lies in a bay flanked by two mountain peaks on either side and looks as if its straight out of a picture postcard.
How to Get There
The easiest way to get to the beach is by car, with ample parking available behind the tree lines. The closest bus stop is a little further away requiring a considerable walk to get there, but many Seychelles resorts including the likes of Berjaya Praslin Resort offer shuttle services to Anse Lazio.
Snorkel to your Heart’s Content
The locale is a designated swimming area with lifeguards on duty to ensure everyone’s safety. The beach is excellent for snorkeling and swimming, with great visibility for spotting a turtle or two.
Eat Fresh Sea Food
The beach has some charming restaurants and cafés such as Bonbon Plume and Takamaka Beach among other many others which serves up some great seafood dishes.
