Grenada is known for so much more than just it’s stunning beaches. But in this article, we aim to highlight some of the best beaches in the country because some of the main tourist pullers are out there on the 75-mile-long coast!
Levera Beach
Grenada’s largest nesting of leatherback turtles takes place on these shores. You may be able to spot them if you arrive at the right time. The waters here are a bit rough though and are not ideal for swimming.
Duquesne Bay
This beach is one of the more remote ones and is the definition of unspoiled! The waters here are great for sailing, snorkelling and swimming.
La Sagesse Beach
La Sagesse is one of the most beautiful beaches hidden away by the palm trees and therefore is also less crowded. It is ideal for some sunbathing.
Getting to Grenada
Reaching Grenada is easy when there are flights that come in each day through airlines like interCaribbean Airways. However, with the current situation, it will be wise to check on things to know when flying to adhere to COVID precautionary procedures.
