The Brief Garden
A 16-minute ride from Cinnamon Bentota Beach is all it takes to reach the Brief Garden. This garden is located in the town of Bentota and was designed by the famous landscape architect, Bevis Bawa. Kande Viharaya
Easily reachable from most 5-star hotels in Bentota, Kande Viharaya is well known among Sri Lankan Buddhist devotees. As the name suggests, the temple is situated on top of a hill and portrays all elements of any temple like the stupa, image house, Bo tree, relic chamber etc.
The Lighthouse
The Bentota Lighthouse Is located on Barberyn Island and is one of the town’s most iconic landmarks. The lighthouse was built in the late 19th century and is still in operation today. It is a popular spot for tourists to visit and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
The Sea Turtle Farm

Located just outside of Bentota, the Sea Turtle Farm is a conservation centre that is dedicated to protecting and preserving sea turtles. The centre is home to several different species of sea turtles, including the green turtle and the hawksbill turtle. Visitors can learn about the various species of sea turtles and their importance to the ecosystem, and visit the turtles up close.
