Finding things for your kids to enjoy while on holiday might be a challenging task for any parent. Especially ones that keep their attention snagged but still educates them.
What is available?
Finding tourist attractions in Chiang Mai that will keep your kids entertained is not that hard. There are many activities that will keep your kids entertained while keeping you engaged as well. Any one of these or all of them can be accessed via the hotel you are patronizing as hotels like the Anantara Chiang Mai Serviced Suites offer you trips to the following.
Lin Ping the Panda cub!!!
Lin Ping, on loan of the courtesy of the Chinese government at the Chiang Mai Zoo, has been its star attraction since 2009. Interestingly, Thailand actually has a 24 hour TV channel dedicated to the cheeky lady and her antics. Who wouldn’t want a pick-me-up in the shape of a Panda? Of course, there are other attractions in the zoo, but Lin Ping is special.
Night Bazaar
Whether it’s the street food or the handicrafts or simply the flavour of real Thailand you’re looking to experience, the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar is a tumultuous fall of colours, people and culture. The weekend markets are even more special as they have features the weekday markets don’t have, but either way, it’s a cultural experience you mustn’t miss!
Doi Suthep
One of Thailand’s most sacred temples, the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a piece of history that one must see in northern Thailand. The Temple itself is located at the summit of a mountain that has 309 stairs leading to it – a stairway to heaven. You can also take a tram to the top, but that would kill the experience of the architecture that adorns the way up to the magnificence that is the Doi Suthep.
