Located in the Tegehe hamlet in Buleleng Regency, Brahmavihara Arama is the biggest Buddhist Monastery in Bali, Indonesia. A traveler staying at an Ubud Hotel can reach the monastery in about 2 hours along Denpasar-Bedugul-Singaraja route which includes beautiful green areas of rice fields letting you enjoy a natural luxury retreat Bali. There are five main buildings in the complex; Upastha Gara, Dharmasala, Stupa, Bodi tree & Kuti. This monastery also known as Vihara Buddha Banjar was built in 1970 and has been restored after being severely damaged in the 1976 earth quake.

It is required that the visitors are respectfully dressed in long pants or sarongs and maintain the quiet and calm environment in order to not disturb students who are practicing meditation.
