Housed in a modest shrine in a beautiful temple nestled 150 steps up a steep hillside, the road up to Buddha’s foot print in Koh Samui is not a path much travelled. The path being quite rough with thick vegetation surrounding the temple, it is advised to reserve a comfortable Samui hotel to rest your limbs afterwards. Anantara Bophut Koh Samui is a well known Samui resort among many who explore this path which would most definitely provide every comfort that one may need after this tiring journey. Altogether, there are four footprints at this location, all artistically engraved and superimposed on top of each other, said to cover the original footprint. Although not a famous tourist attraction, many are seen to be trodding this path, eager to witness these century old relics with their very own eyes.
