The Bundala National Park is located 245 KM away to the South from Colombo. UNESCO recognized this park as a biosphere and is home for a flock of rare species of migratory birds.

This is home to a few varieties of wild animals like the elephants, monkeys, mongoose, monitors, and lizards. This park is less frequented in comparison to the Yala National Park, sadly so.
The Yala Safari Park is home to many wild animals who roam about freely within its boundaries. This is one of the destination points for tourists visiting Sri Lanka, and many travel agents have included the Yala Safari Park and the Bundala Bird sanctuary as part of their Holiday packages
