Sharp Island is known for its igneous rocks such as rhyolite, quartz monzonite and volcanic breccias, and the Ninepin Island is famous for landscapes and rock formations such as Jacob’s Ladder Cave and the Hexagon Rock Columns. Double Haven; known for its rocky landscape with rich ecological resources, and the Coasts of the Tolo Chanel are famous for their geological faults and folds. Port Island has magnificent red sedimentary rock formations, and finally Tung Ping Chau is popular for its unique “layer cake” rock formations.
