Though the best view of the bay and city are from the Islamic Arts center, the Doha skyline is a most stunning backdrop at the Corniche and is a beautiful place for photography with the setting sun in the distance. There are a few restaurants and cafes along the way which although are not equipped with sophisticated menus or plush ambiance, serves great tea, coffee and a traditional drink with milk and tea; Karak. The Dhows in the bay add to the picturesque sight and one can take a boat ride and a swim in the sea, which will be a most welcoming diversion from the summer heat. This relaxing walk is ideal during the winter season when the heat is low and is a good visit for a passerby.
