Planning Your Visit
The Firefly Valley Leisure Park can be found in Kota Tinggi Town in Johor, Malaysia. Around a 15-minute drive from the town centre, it also makes for an ideal excursion from properties the likes of Anantara Desaru Coast Residences. As you would expect, night time (around 07:30pm) is an ideal time for firefly spotting!
Dazzling in the Dark

As you traverse further away from the jetty, keep your eyes peeled; soon you are bound to see the tiny twinkling “lights” of these fireflies which sometimes number in the thousands!
Mini Farm Visit
Another key attraction at the Firefly Valley Leisure Park is its Mini Farm area where kids can see or get up close to a number of animals. Hamsters, monkeys, geese, ducks, rabbits and turtles can be found here, while there is a fish farm and a goat feeding experience too.

But wait, there’s more! The site features a playground and a drawbridge that the kids are sure to love. There’s a restaurant where you can get dinner before your boat excursion, while nature lovers can enjoy jungle trekking and campfire experiences.
