Ella Rock hiker’s guide

In the ever-beautiful, laidback village in the hill country of Sri Lanka, Ella, one of the best attractions to visit is the Ella Rock. It’s a hiking adventure that has many rewards in store.

The start and the finish

Start your hiking adventure from the Ella Railway Station which is also one of the nicest places to visit in Ella. After exploring the Ella Rock, you may finish your hike at the same place you started and then take the train to Colombo or any other destination you like.

This will be a 10km round trip approximately. Even if you spend one hour exploring the scenic beauty at the top of the rock, you’ll be able to cover this experience within 3 hours.
