Australia is a dream destination for many when it comes to travel. Sydney is always obviously at the top of the list of places to see. Wondering where to begin though? Well, here’s how to start your journey through Sydney’s many attractions and interesting places.
The Rocks
What better place to begin than in the oldest part of the city? The sandstone churches, colonial style buildings and old houses remain here to date. A walk by the harbour, Sydney Observatory Hill Park and bar hopping at night are some of the things that one can’t afford to miss out on when here.
Hit the beach
Since the weather is always great in Sydney, you could say that there is a strong beach culture here. Hang out at the beach for a day and surf to our heart’s content. This can also be an opportunity to mingle with the locals. If you fancy the beach here, book an apartment hotel in Sydney for a stay.
Royal Botanic Gardens
Visit Royal Botanic Gardens which is home to all sorts of lovely ferns, vegetables and blooming flowers. It was Australia’s first vegetable garden. For a change instead of tanning at the beach, try tanning at the gardens like locals most often do!
The Sydney Opera House
This attraction located just a 9-minute drive away from Oaks on Castlereagh needs no introduction! Visit this iconic place and although the tour might be just a tad bit expensive it’s best you take it. It took about 15 years for the entire structure to be completed.
