A Part of History
Fort Canning Park is linked with the country’s history; it was once a place where Malay royalty ruled in the 14th century and where the British surrendered to the Japanese in World War Two. Today, you can visit Fort Gate and see the remains of a fort and explore Battle Box, an underground military complex used by the British.
An ideal place to unwind, the park is home to nine historical gardens each with something different to discover.
