Shibuya Sky
Located on the top floors of the Shibuya Scramble Square building, Shibuya Sky offers a 360-degree view of the city. This site located close to Oakwood Residence Roppongi T Cube Tokyo features an open-air observation deck which is around 230 metres up high. It also features a transparent section that provides a thrilling view below, while there are hammocks too, perfect when you want to feel the cool breeze while taking in the amazing panoramas.
Tokyo Tower
One of the city’s most iconic landmarks, Tokyo Tower has been a popular destination for tourists since it was inaugurated in 1958. Standing at 333 metres, this tower which is within easy reach of Roppongi apartments provides a fantastic view of the city. While the main observation deck is 150 metres above ground level, a new top deck was opened 100 metres higher. The entrance fee entitles you to a multilingual audio guide and a souvenir photo, while there’s a restaurant here too.
Tokyo Skytree
Standing at a height of 634 metres, Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in Japan and features two observation decks at 350 and 450 metres above ground level, each providing spellbinding vistas. Before or after you have taken in these magical views, make sure to explore the base of the tower; here, you will find over 300 restaurants and shops, ideal when you need some foodie adventures and retail therapy.
Tokyo City View
Located in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Tokyo City View is an observation deck that provides more spectacular views of the city’s skyline. Visitors can enjoy 360-degree panoramas from this vantage point which is located on the 52nd floor and from where one can spot landmarks like the Skytree, Tokyo Tower and Shinjuku Gyoen. Interestingly, the Mori Art Museum is one floor above and is worth visiting too.
