This is a famous coral cay located near the tropic of Capricorn in the southern Great Barrier in Queensland, Australia. The island is surrounded by 24 hectares of coral reef situated towards the end of the Southern barrier.

The island is situated 72km northeast of Gladstone and is 539 km north from Brisbane. This is a World Heritage Site Listed Marine National Park. The island is famous for bird watching and the bird heron is considered one of the major species available on the island.
