About
Huangyaguan Great Wall is known as the miniature of the Great Wall in China. It is located 28km north of Tianjin. The steps are very high since the mountain is sloppy in some sections. While walking along the wall it’s better not to look down, you will certainly feel dizzy at the sight!

History
Although this wall was originally built in 557AD, it was repaired for the second time with brick battlements under the supervision of Qi Qiguang. In addition, different forms of water towers were built along the wall for the distribution of water and it also served as a reservoir to supply water in an emergency.

Any Tianjin service apartment the likes of Somerset International Building Tianjin would be able to direct you in the right direction to reach the Huangyaguan Great Wall. If not, you can simply take a bus at Tianjin Hebei Bus Station to Jixian.
