The location
If you stay at a hotel apartment in Xian during your holiday, travelling to the Huaqing Hot Springs will not take up that much of your time. It’s situated at the foot of the Lishan Mountain, about 35 kilometres east of Xian city.

Since the Tang Dynasty, this has been one of the most favourite spas for the emperors who visited here daily to bathe and enjoy the scenic beauty. However, the Western Zhou Dynasty, Qin Dynasty, and the Han Dynasty also have stories with this place.
