Jim’s Legacy
Jim Thompson moved to Thailand and settled there in 1946, after serving his time in the military. He is known among Thailand for being the sole reason for the thriving silk industry in the country today. He spent about 30 years of his life dedicated to making Thai Silk famous in fashion capitals like London, Paris, New York, and Milan.
