As mentioned, it’s the most significant attraction in the city. The Temple of The Sacred Tooth Relic is also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa and it’s the holy place where the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha resides.

Kandy is home to many other Buddhist temples. In addition to the Bahirawakanda Viharaya, the city has many other temples such as Gadaladeniya Temple, Lankatilake Temples, and Embekke Temples.
Parks and sanctuaries
Udawatta Kele Sanctuary is one of the natural parks you find located very closer to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Kandy is also home to the largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
