Offering panoramic vistas of the Darling Range and Swan River, Kings Park and Botanic Garden is a must-visit location if you’re an ardent nature lover.
Kings Park boasts a 400.6-hectare land that overlooks Perth Water, which refers to a portion of the Swan River nestled on the southern edge of Perth CBD. It is visited by approximately five million people each year.
Kings Park and Botanic Garden is rich in flora (both native and imported). It houses a variety of flora including 215 known fungi species and 324 native plants. One could also observe around 80 species of birds as well.
This park also consists of the State War Memorial, Royal Kings Park, and even a reservoir apart from its tourist-friendly facilities. Each year in September, the park hosts a festival, which exhibits the largest wildflower show in Australia.
