Lake Tai -Greatest of lakes

This bright pearl set in the Yangtze River delta, Lake Tai or Taihu Lake is situated in the southern part of Wuxi.

Location
The Taihu lake borders one side of the city whiles the Grand Canal passes through the city as well, which is often attributed for the city’s prosperity. There are some key attractions that make Wuxi a city worth a visit.

Lake Tai is about 2,400 square kilometres and is the source of the Suzhou River. This lake is perhaps the country’s most famous scenic spot and the third largest freshwater lake in China.

There is an entry fee of 105 Yuan charged to visitors coming to the Turtle Head Isle and the Lake.
