Located 350 meters off Qatar’s West Bay Lagoon, the Pearl in Doha Qatar a 400 ha manmade island of four million square meters is a stupendous financial and engineering undertaking that is also an innovative urban development project.
When completed the Pearl is expected to increase Qatar’s coastline by 25 miles of which 12 miles will be white sandy beaches. A variety of beach environments such as open beach areas, terraced beaches and exclusive private beach areas are being developed according to client’s requirements and to suit the special site conditions. Superb landscaping has also created a series of parklands and leisure areas. The project’s target is to have 45,000 expatriates living here. Many prospective buyers are keen to make the facility at least their temporary home as international investors can own plots outright and are given long term visas.
