Malaysia has many thick rainforests which are inhabited by a wide range of exotic animals. Here are some species that command the food chain of Malaysian jungles.

King Cobra
This is one of the most iconic poisonous reptiles found in South Asia, and its venom consists of potent neurotoxins that can easily incapacitate its enemies by affecting their central nervous system, which eventually leads to paralysis after the initial symptoms of severe pain, drowsiness and blurred vision.
Estaurine Crocodiles
Generally referred to as Saltwater Crocodiles, these are the biggest kind of crocodiles you can find, and can grow beyond twenty feet in length. These creatures have been known to eviscerate other apex predators such as sharks.
Reticulated Python
Famous for its appearance in the first Harry Potter in the scene where harry discovers he can speak to snakes, the Reticulated Python is the world’s longest snake, and can grow more than 20 feet in length. Malayan Tiger
This is the national animal of Malaysia, and one of the most dominant creatures in the animal kingdom. Although these creatures are presently threatened due to being hunted for their meat and bones, with the latter being an ingredient in traditional medicine.
