If you’re staying at a Sur hotel you must make it a point to check out Wadi Bani Khalid. Close by to most of the hotels here such as the Sur Plaza Hotel for example, this beautiful wet wadi that flows with crystal clear waters all shaded by gorgeous palm trees.
4) Visit the Nizwa Fort
The Nizwa Fort gives off an illusion as if it has been sculpted directly from the desert sands. This 17th-century fortress features beautiful architecture with blank smooth walls that are topped with beautifully curved crenulations.
