The Dubai Frame is a symbolic representation of the leaps and bounds the state has taken over the last decade. The design was selected following a competition that had over 900 proposals and was opened in 2018. The framing has Old Dubai on one side, and New Dubai on the other, and is a spectacle you should not miss.
Best Times to Visit the Frame
The Dubai Frame is open from 9 am to 9 pm, and the last entry will be at 8.30. The Frame is open all year round, while it may vary during Ramadan. Visiting during the morning and sunset are the best times, and if you want to avoid the crowds, avoid weekends and head over during the weekdays. Visits during the morning offer an incredible panoramic view, while during night visits you can see the city light up.
Best Views from the Frame
On one side you can see Old Dubai, a series of low-rise buildings that represent Old Dubai, a city that is full of hope. On the other side, you can experience the advancements made by the emirate with a look at the New Dubai, with miles and miles of high-rise skyscrapers that define the industry giant Dubai is today.
Getting to the Dubai Frame
You can get to this beautiful structure via public transport, either the bus or the Metro, or take a car ride to it. If you’re staying near Jumeirah in properties such as AVANI Ibn Battuta Dubai, the state-of-the-art Metro system will drop you off at the Al Jafiliya stop on the Red line, from which the Frame is a minute’s walk away.
