Overview
The Pranburi Forest Park is a protected reserve that is located at the mouth of Pran Buri River to the Gulf of Thailand. It has been declared a reserve as to support and initiate a sustainable forest filled with trees along the coastline and it covers an area of 3.17 square kilometres
Story behind the reserve
The project was implemented in the year 1974 by Queen Sirikit. The plan of the project was to create heaven that will support a variety of plant and animal life creating different ecosystems such as Mangrove forests, coastal plains and deciduous forests.
