Located on the southern side of Gulangyu Island, Shuzhuang Garden is a must-visit attraction if you are someone who loved the wonders of nature.
A bit from the history…
Although it was built in 1931 by a wealthy Taiwanese businessman, it was opened to the public only in 1955. Today, it’s a famous tourist attraction.
The Canghai Garden
This beautiful garden faces the sea, but the architect has surprisingly tried to hide the sea using ‘hiding elements’. Visitors get no views of the sea when taking their entrance to the garden.
The Bushan Garden
The Bushan Garden hides the hills. It has been designed using the famous architectural style-‘Borrowing from the surroundings’
The Piano Museum
What you get to see as the Piano Museum is the former Wave-Listening Pavilion. All types of vintage and modern pianos are here for exploration. Even if you know nothing about pianos, this will offer you great education!
