The Giant moving structure
Towering 165 meters the giant Ferris wheel houses 28 air-conditioned capsules, which can accommodate 28 Passengers and it also incorporates a three-storied terminal building. The moving wheel rotates at a speed of 0.21 meters per second, and the full rotation takes approximately 32 minutes.
The Construction
Even though the idea of this superstructure emerged in the year of 2000, the blueprints started to come alive in the year of 2005 and the construction commenced with the groundbreaking ceremony on the 27th of September that year. The outer rim of the structure was completed on 9th of April of 2007 and the whole structure was fully completed and was opened to the public in 2008 during the Chinese new year.
