A seaside resort in southern Thailand, Hua Hin makes for a perfect getaway from city life. Full of old world charm, this town offers plenty of things to see and do for a week-long escape!
Beach Time Aplenty
The town’s main draw is the beach which provides laid-back fun in the sun, sand and surf. Stay at a resort Hua Hin has to offer beside the ocean and enjoy a week of sunbathing, swimming, water sports like kiteboarding and horse riding as well.
See the Sights
There’s plenty to see on a week-long holiday; the seaside Thai-Victorian style Mrigadayavan Palace within 15 minutes of Avani+ Hua Hin Resort is worth visiting as is the historic Hua Hin Train Station and Wat Hua Hin, a sacred temple. Catch a sunrise at the Hua Hin Fishing Pier and plan an excursion to Pa La-U Waterfall, ideal for nature lovers.
Shopping Delights
For some fun shopping visit the Hua Hin Night Market; located on Petchkasem Road, this market comes alive from 6.30pm onwards and offers a range of products including arts & crafts. The Sam Pan Nam Floating Market built around a lake and the Plern Wan shopping village with its 1950s style are great places to shop and sample local food too.
A Vineyard Tour
Plan a trip to the countryside where you can tour the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard, around 36 km from the town. You can enjoy a tour by bike or on elephant back as well as look forward to some wine tasting and dining opportunities.
