The temple is known as Wat Phra Si Maha Umathewi in Thai. It is often referred to as Wat Khaek as well a common term for Indian descendants. There are various other Hindu temples in Bangkok that are often worshipped by all communities. The communities live in harmony by respecting each others religions and faiths even though the majority follow Buddhism.
