It was the architect Alfred Bryer of Messrs Leigh & Orange who constructed this awe inspiring building in the Gothic Revival style and the red brick outer appearance of the church brings to mind nostalgic memories of an older Honk Kong well preserved within these walls. St Andrew’s Church is also the oldest Protestant church in Kowloon, it offers services in both English and Putonghua, assembling large crowds for service regularly. This is a church that has seen much and stands a silent witness to the many eras that have passed by.
