Colombo has many religious and architecturally interesting churches to its name, and St Anthony’s Church is the most popular of them all.

History
Being a universal saint who has impressed audience all over the world, this church was built in honour of the great Saint Anthony of Lisbon, who died at the age of 36, back in the year 1231.
