Yunnan University which was founded in 1922 is a truly picturesque campus with age-old buildings and some stunning natural backdrops. One of the key allures is an area lined with ginkgo trees; the leaves turn to yellow from autumn to early winter (end of October to mid-December) and is a lovely sight indeed.
Take a Trip to the Stone Forest
No trip to Yunnan is complete without a visit to the ancient Stone Forest. Intrigued? At this site, you will find a forest not of wood, but of stone!
