The Dubai Fountain

When it comes to extraordinary entertainment, Dubai takes first place! The Dubai Fountain is yet another hypnotic dance performance put together by skilled minds to awe watchers visiting Dubai Mall.

The stage setting

Water jets are arranged with precision beneath the water of the beautiful lake at the foot of Dubai Mall. These jets shoot 22,000 gallons of water that reach heights of about 140 meters. The 30-acre Burj Lake serves as a brilliant stage with the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa and city lights at night as the backdrop for the performance.

The breath-taking dance

The water jets are shot up in the air to the beat of three melodies that are popular but from different genres. The water is made to dance to the tunes of Thriller by Michael Jackson, Time to Say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman and the recent addition to the song list, Power by Korean pop band EXO.

The dance formation

The water jets are arranged in five circles that shoot water at an impressive speed and height into the air. Over 20 WET super lights are fixed up with about 20 colour variations which keep switching throughout the show to enhance the performance. The jets of water are visible as far as 30km away from the area.

The Dubai Boardwalk

The recent addition to this enchanting experience is a floating boardwalk. Those watching the fountain from this point are just 9 meters away from the magnificent jets of water. The platform is about 272 meters long. Watching from here will make the scene even more magical for sure!
