The Grand Palace was built in 1782 and was approximately 150 years, was used as the royal residences for the Thai King, the Royal court as well as the administrative seat of government.
The Grand Palace is located in centre of the city and is a popular tourist attraction. The Palace used to be official residence for King Rama 1 to King Rama V.

Within the premises of the Grand Palace, you’ll be able to find the site has been divided into 2 zones; The Temple of the Emerald Buddha known as Wat Phra Kaew and Royal Residence. The residence is divided into 3 sections; the Outer Court, Middle Court and Inner Court.
Before visiting the Wat Phra Kaew, the most sacred site in Thailand, ensure that you are modestly dressed, which means you shouldn’t wear shorts, or sleeveless tops. Make sure your arms and legs are covered.
