Referred to as ACCA, the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art is also in the arts precinct and provides a platform for contemporary artists to showcase their works. Interestingly, instead of just acquiring art for its collection, the centre focuses on commissioning artworks which it then displays, giving artists a chance to make their “voice” heard; thus, visitors can also enjoy exciting and fresh artworks as well.
